NEXT
Early in the Summer of 2019 we will be traveling across the channel to the historic Normandy, Brittany, and Paris, France. We don’t have an exact date until the school solidifies their 2018-2019 academic calendar, but it will be shortly after school ends. We will not travel over the 4th of July holiday.
Students at the Middle school received, Thursday, 1-18, and will receive, Friday, 1-19, their invitations and recommendation letters for the informational meeting on Wednesday the 24 of January. Teachers could recommend up to 10 students. There were a lot of overlaps – more than one teacher recommending a student – so some students that may normally have deserve a recommendation may not have gotten one. Anyone, however, can attend the informational meeting 1/24 at 6:30. If students didn’t get a recommendation they have a month to get one from a teacher or someone else outside the family.
All Former travelers are welcome to come, and all former travelers may give one recommendation.

Rome and Athens 2017
We started our trip with a little drama, our flight out of Logan on Air Canada was canceled! Not normally a huge problem but this time it was a big deal because we were scheduled to visit Vatican City upon arrival in Rome and then it would be closed for the remainder of the trip. The People at EFtours did some quick shuffling and we got another flight a couple of hours later. The rest of the trip was amazing. We visited the Sistine chapel, saw works of art by Michelangelo, toured the Colosseum and other ancient sites in Rome, and Pompeii. After Rome we flew to Greece and visited the Acropolis, Swam in the Mediterranean, visited Delphi and ate, and ate and …
Fund Raiser, Saturday, April 8th
We will be holding our second fundraiser at Shaw’s Supermarket on Saturday, April 8th.
We will again be having a can drive. Patrons to Shaws were very generous and we hope they will be as generous again.
We also would like to have two crews: a 10am to 12 noon crew, and a 12 noon to 2pm crew. Please let Mr. Moore know which times you prefer. We’d like to get everyone we can out there. I know 2 students have the RCMS play that day so please pitch in to help them out since we do not expect them to participate.
